Nick Stosic has been named as Interim Commissioner at the Nevada Division of Insurance, replacing Barbara Richardson, who has been Nevada’s Insurance Commissioner since March 2016. Stosic most recently served as Nevada’s Deputy Insurance Commissioner responsible for oversight of the Product Compliance, Market Regulation, and Captives sections, while also acting as the liaison with Nevada’s insurance agents and brokers. Prior to that, he served as the Division’s Insurance Regulation Liaison, beginning his career with Nevada in 2016.
Nick Stosic has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Arizona. He is a CPA who formerly worked for Price Waterhouse and Co. before becoming engaged in his family insurance business, working as an insurance producer, agency owner and manager until he joined the Nevada Division of Insurance. Interim Commissioner Stosic also has the professional designations of Chartered Life Underwriter, Chartered Financial Consultant, and Certified Financial Planner.
