Chlora Lindley-Myers, has been appointed the Director of the Missouri Department of Insurance by Governor Greitens. She most recently served as Deputy Commissioner at the Tennessee Department of Commerce & Insurance (TDCI) Deputy Commissioner. Early in her career she had a 10 year stint in underwriting and claims administration for Aetna Life, and her career has included several key roles in insurance regulation, including writing insurance legislation for the Connecticut General Assembly, Chief Compliance Officer of Examinations for the Kentucky Department of Insurance , and NAIC’s director of Consumer Protection and Anti-Fraud Division. This past November she was awarded the National Association of Insurance’s Commissioners (NAIC) Robert Dineen Award for Outstanding Service and Contribution to the State Regulation of Insurance.
