New Acting Director appointed to head up the Missouri Dept of Commerce and Insurance

Effective Jan. 1, 2025 Mick Campbell has been appointed as the Acting Director of the Department of Commerce and Insurance (DCI) by Missouri Governor Mike Parson. Mick Campbell will continue to serve until incoming Governor, Mike Kehoe, whose term as Governor begins January 14, decides to either retain Mick Campbell in that position or appoints a new Director. Mick Campbell steps temporarily into the role previously held by Director Chlora Lindley-Myers, who announced her retirement effective Dec. 31, 2024. Mick Campbell has been serving as the Commissioner of Finance for the DCI since January 2022 (first appointed as Acting Commissioner in 2022 then appointed as Commissioner of Finance in 2023). Previously, from 2004 until January 2022, he held the position of Deputy Commissioner of Finance. Mick Campbell, a Missouri native, holds the degrees of Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Administrative Management from Missouri State University.
